My spirit has been broken.Until
my late 20s, I was just that: a broken spirit. I lived my childhood
without love, emotional support, indeed, many times without the
necessities of life. I was introverted, full of shame (undeserved) and
believed that I was one of those people who could not engender love. I
was alone.
One day, however, I straightened my back, threw back my
shoulders, held my head high and started to love…me.
You have to take care of yourself and not expect someone else to do it. You are responsible for your happiness. Only you can make yourself feel whole. No one else can do that for you.
