Whether Medicine, Mojo or Gypsy Bag, a lot of us have one to carry our gemstones, lucky charms, candle, tarot cards etc. My own is just a satin drawstring gypsy bag where i carry an Arkansas crystal, a wildwoman charm my niece brought me from New Orleans and 3 red bells wildwoman loves, sacred tobacco for ceremony, bloodroot to ward off whatever might be lurking about, a $5 gold piece and other personal items. A friend's has her grandmother's wedding ring, a lucky penny, a crystal from Mt. Ida, Arkansas, a small smudge stick of white sage for smudging on the go and more that she prefers to keep private. Another friend, a Sioux medicine woman/shaman has a beautiful Native American beaded medicine bag, contents unknown. Whether your bag is mojo, medicine or gypsy the items you select magnetize together creating a sacred power you can draw on, much as your altar or home temple. Whatever we assign and endow mirrors back to us multiplied.
