''The elf-queene, with hir joly compaignie, Daunced ful ofte in many a grene mede.” Geoffrey Chaucer "The Wife of Bath’s Tale"

I loved the Iceland Elves article!  Years ago I flew Icelandair airline to Europe with  a stopover in Iceland.  The instant I stepped outside the aircraft I felt the magical  frequency/vibration and  fell in love with Iceland! I've never forgotten the snow so light it fluffed as you walked  reflecting the  twinkling  night lights. . . fairy lights for the elves?  I didn't see any but not surprised to know they're there in that mystical land.  My only experience with elves was while I was living on Mobile Bay in Alabama.  I'd read you could see elves if you looked for them so the next time I went outside to smoke I looked - and saw an elf under a nearby tree watching me.  About 2-3' tall, he wore the stereotypical green elf-suit, had pointy elf-ears and intelligent lively eyes acknowledging my interest.  Power of suggestion?  When you see one get back to me on that.
